Hari Nyepi, the Hindu celebration of New Year ICAK 1933, this year falls on March 5. I was settling old photos to try to do some 'order among the thousands of shots that now crowd the memory of my computer and I want to store on CD groped when I reappeared those depicting some of the projects published in a special issue of ADD released in December 2006. I remember that time in a strange way, I seem to have lived in high life. L'ultimo swap a cui ho partecipato è il "SECRET SANTA SWAP". Tradotto suona come lo Swap del "Babbo Natale segreto", infatti si sapeva a chi inviare il  pacco dono, ma non da chi lo si avrebbe ricevuto. Tutto è partito dall'Inghilterra, ma alla fine, la partita a tre l'ho giocata con due mie connazionali! Infatti chi ha organizzato questo swap ha abbinato tra loro le uniche tre partecipanti italiane.

Tutto pensato con cura per me: matite colorate nei miei colori preferiti, così come la cornice in legno, l'angioletta in gesso e i cuscinetti profumati dalle linee semplici, pulite ma speciali nel loro insieme; squisito cioccolato ed una saponetta agli agrumi, aroma che adoro!

Everything was designed with care for me : coloured pencils in my favorite shades , as well as the heart frame , the scented sachets and the little angel, so special all together; then delicious chocolate and a bar of soap with citrus scent, a fragrance That I Love!

But I have been the "Secret Santa" by Angela. Many of you, if I write "The world of Iris" , will immediately understand who I am referring. This is what I sent. I was inspired mainly by the color of her kitchen, so I created a picture with the sua iniziale in painted stitchery, un paio di magneti a cuore ed una nappa in legno sempre a forma di cuore con una delle mie classiche rose. In questo momento amo molto la tecnica del  painted stitchery così ho realizzato due addobbi per l'albero e, per dare quel tocco profumato, che a Natale non può mancare,  penso che una scatola di candeline al profumo di cannella ci stesse proprio bene. Angela ama il cucito creativo e realizzare dolcissime bambole, così ho inviato un po' di materiale utile per i suoi progetti: bottoni dipinti, nastri, fiori e bacche.

I was Angela 's Secret Santa. This is what I sent . I was inspired mainly by the color of her kitchen , so I created a picture with the initial letter of her name in painted stitchery , a pair of heart shaped magnet, as well as an heart shaped tassel painted with one of my classic roses . Right now I really love the painted stitchery technique so I made two ornaments for her Xmas tree and added  a box of cinnamon -scented candles . Angela loves to make creative sewing and beautiful dolls , so I added also some useful stuff for her projects : painted buttons , ribbons , silk flowers and berries .

Sono stata molto felice di sapere che ad Angela tutto è stato gradito.
